1. I think that Jonas made the right choice taking Gabe because Jonas knew that Gabe will be killed. I think Jonas will do this because in the story some chapters back lily said that Gabe had the same eyes as Jonas so that might mean Gabe is special just like Jonas.2.I think Jonas will get caught because you get away with anything with a baby, he might cry. In the story Jonas also said some of the people are still working in the community. Also he gave Gabe memories so the memories he gave Gabe will maybe say with the community too.

The Giver 1.) I think Jonas did the right thing, because he didn’t want to see Gabe get released in the morning. Jonas knew Gabe was getting released because his dad was talking about at dinner.

ReplyDeleteI think it is a bad idea to bring Gabe cause Jones parent might try to find Gabe and have to search every house in the town. The story might well end when the giver dies with rosemary and Jones and Gabe might live differently.

ReplyDeleteYes because if he stayed with or without Gabe he would be miserable. He also took the right decision bringing Gabe because if he didn’t Gabe would be released, which Jonas did not like, also if he was caught both of them would be released, Jonas thought it was ok if they were released.
Question 2:
Well, I think Jonas will not be caught and will be elsewhere because there is one more chapter left and a new event can’t just happen, unless there is The Giver 2 or some other book. Also, because there is nobody out at midnight.

ReplyDeleteYes I do think that Jonas made the right decision to leave with Gabe because now since their together Jonas can stop Gabe from injecting himself and so Jonas’s father don’t inject Gabe. One detail to support my answer is the time when Jonas saw a tape of his father injecting a twin. Another detail to support my answer is that so Gabe also doesn’t inject himself like Rose Mary.

ReplyDeleteQuestion1#: I think that Jonas and The Givers plan will not work out. I think it will not work out because when his father wakes up at dawn he will realize that Gabe is gone. Then he will try to find Jonas and realize note on his bed and know something is wrong; and when his bike is gone he could tell things are misplaced. The book also said that his plan will fall apart and Jonas was forced to flee.

I THINK THE STORY WILL END WHEN THE COMMYUITTY IS BETTER AND JONAS WILL RETURN AND EVERY ONE WILL HAVE THE MEMORIES AND BE ABLE TO SEE COLOR BECAUSE IN THE STORY THE GIVER SAID “I WILL STAY AND GIVE THE MEMORIES TO THEM SO THEY WILL KNOW THE TRUTH.” AND WHEN LL YOU HAVE THE MEMORIES YOU CAN SEE COLOR . ALSO THE COMMUITTY WILL BE BETTER OFF KNOWING THE TRUTH.
