  2. What intrigued me was how we went from homemade things to factories. One of my questions are how long does it take to get a monopoly?

iventions can change the world by if something new comes out they find diffrent ways to use that invention so then it wil be used almost arcross the world for people and jobs anything and then move on.

Some similarities between technogical revolution and the Industrial Revolution are that we both had factories that make fabric. Also we still have people who have monopolies, and we still have some steam engines. Some diffrentces are we don't have people working at each machine by hand we don't have steam boats anymore. Also we don't have the cottn gin anymore.

  3. What intreuged me was that all of the inventions were invented in a short time, from hand to machine. Also what intreuged me was how it just started.I do have some questions about the revaloution like what triggered the revaloution to start? Also what was the most interesting and important invention?

I say invention's change the world because they help the economy.Imports and export's made our big bussnes's a huge monopoly. Some rich people even donated like alot of money to have libraries. Then it is visted more people spend money weget a better economy and dose it again and again.

Some thing we have incommon are that they were insired by things that had an imppact on there life. They also had more time in there day. Also alot of people were out of job's because they had machine's.Some difference's we have are that we have are that we have more advanced tecnology than they had. They happened at different time's. They had no computer's to check if what they were doing was right

  4. 1. What intrigued me was how all these people figured out in that time period because back then we didn’t have all the things we have today so how could they figure it out. Another thing that intrigued me was all the fantastic inventions all these people had created. Like the telephone, light bulb, sowing machine and so much more!

    2. Some of the questions I have are how much money where the inventions sold for and how many inventors came to be monopolies?

    3. Inventions can change the world by a lot of ways. Like imports and exports and business maters. They also change the world by new types of a same invention like, cars and how they are different models and back then they were so simple. Inventions can also change the world by electricity, like the light bulb. That helped with lighting in homes. There is a ton more on how inventions can change the world.

    4. The Industrial Revolution and the technological revolution are similar and different. Some ways they are similar is that they are both amazing revolutions and they where and are still popular in business. They are different because they keep creating better models/types of the old inventions and makindg

  5. Inventions can change the world by getting
energy from the sun [solar power].And help making it better in some places where plants could be planted.

  6. What intrigued me is that inventor's at that time made a lot of inventions that really changed the world by improving our lives that makes us do less work.Another thing that intrigued me is handwork changed into factories or the inventions turned more advanced in a short time. One question I have is that if the industrial revolution did not even happen in the United States what will happen?Another question is that would there be an another revolution?

Invention's can change the world by improving lives and making it easier. They improve lives by for example:telephone-helped by calling people fast than writing a letter or speaking in person or the light bulbs:light last more than candles and it runs on electricity without needing to light them again they also help in dark places. So if inventions improve lives it also can improve or change the world.

Some similarities of the industrial revolution and the technological revolution today are that we still have many inventions from the industrial revolution today, adults still work in factories, and we still have books to store information. Some differences are that kids don't work any more,we went from industrial to technology, and we have better and faster transportation.

  7. I was amazed by how much happened in the second industrial revolution!A lot changed and so many things were invented and such. I was also intrigued by how many things were not good and were wrong. Such as the working conditions and child labor. The factories and other work places were so dangerous, people had accidents with the machines and there was that picture of the workers up on that ledge high above the city without much safety.I was intrigued by how many people immigrated and from how many different places.Lastly, I was intrigued by how quickly it went from rural living to city living.
A question I had was what percentage of workers were children? What inventions were the most popular and how quickly did these inventions become popular? Did many people use some of the inventions in their home or at all? Basically, how quickly did things pick up?

I think that inventions can change the world because they make a change in the way we live, communicate, and travel. We can get places quicker so we can do more, they help us learn more, etc., and all of these things contribute to living better. They also help us make time time for other things like family because things are made quicker and things are done quicker.

The Industrial Revolution is different from the technological revolution that we are going through today because it was mainly machinery and such and today it is technology like the ipad. They are also different because working corders and other places for research and making things are safer. Another difference is that the Industrial Revolution made lots more jobs for people and our Technological Revolution is taking away jobs for people by replacing them with computers. My last difference is that the Industrial Revolution was about manipulating objects and the Technological Revolution is about manipulating knowledge. One similarity between the Industrial Revolution and the Technological Revolution is that they both changed the jobs that people had. Another similarity is that both revolutions are helping people do things quicker and more easily. They both introduced new technology. They both created more jobs for women. That is what I think about it.

  8. what intrigued me was how these simple inventions changed America, like the lightbulb without it we couldn't work at night.

  9. How do they come up with these's inventions

  10. Inventions change the world if like they make somthing out of somthing old like the cotton cin. Now they make clothes in factories then in homes then they use to do.Also now they use bigger machines which mean more clothes in a smaller amount of time. Then the inventions make there way around the world.

  11. well one things for sure that our tecnological revolution really changed over the many years. We today use more effiont and more "technology".The Industrial Revolution is similar in ways like, both have inventions really useful and are pieces of American history. They also are different in ways like our inventions these days are more "effiont" like I said above. But the Industrial Revolution is slightly different in a way like, it is (This is just an example) old to new like those big old phones they use to use in the really old days, but now we use "iphone, and blackberry"those are more "new".

  12. Comment: This video is a great explaintion of the Industrial Revolution.

1.What intrigued me was that the factory was not in the Technological Revolution.

2.Inventions are a way of how people do things in life.

3.Some similarites are that both revolutions change the world with their inventions. Also they both have some kind of resource.

A way they are different is that they use different resources. Also one revolution uses energy and one uses either air or water.

  13. What intrigued me the most was how they went from handmade to machines and factories. The machines allowed things to be made quicker. I would like to know the exact year the second industrial revolution started? Also, if there were many women inventors?

Inventions can change the world by making everything quicker and simplier. They help with the improvements of communication and transportation. You can travel faster and easier and talk to your relatives out-of-town beause of inventions.

Some similarities of the Industrial Revolution and the Technological Revolution are that some inventions remain the same but are more advanced. Also people continue to invent many new things. Some differences are during the Industrial revolution children worked along with adults for long hours. Today it is illegal for children to work. Another difference is that people operated the machines and today machines operate themselves. Machines were much slower during the industrial revolution than they are today.

  14. What intrigued me was that how small things became big.The questions that I have are how long did it take to be an inventor. Inventions can change the world because it makes things go faster than it was early. Some things we go through today from the Industrial Revolution are that we still can make clothes from hand people stil work in factories. Some things that are different now are we have more transportationswe don't have to do things by hand that much anymore.

  15. What intriqued me was the men standing on the high bridge . How did they even get up there.Inventions changed the world by inventions like the light bulb because buisneses were able to stay open later. Also the telephone were easier to contact people.Similarities and diffrences are..... A similaritie is the two telephones . But they are diffrent because the newer telephones are much smaller. Also the light Bulb is similar to new light bulbs but newer ones go in a lamp. we have big light units but is up in the ceiling.Thats my assignment

  16. What intrigued me was Thomas Edison who invented the lightbulb. My questions are,why do they make children work in factories? How much do they pay them?Inventions can change the world because we would not have transportation whithout trains, cars, and boats. Some similarities are,we have steam boats. We have telephones. We have kids working. Some differences are,we did not inventions.Us children do not work in factories. We were not in the American Industrial Revelution.

  17. ladell said.... What intruged me was the home made suff that people was inventing and how they start going to factories. My question was that why did people even want to stand on a high bridge and do all types of stuff. inventions changed the world because if we didnt have electronics, and cars, light bulbs either. The industrail revolutoin and the technological revolution are the same becaus they both have something to do with people inventing someting.

A lot of things intrigued me one was the child labor and the immigrants. Why did they come to the U.S.A. all of the sudden. Why back then was it because of the industry going up and getting better. Inventions change the world because without them we would be pain. It would take longer to sew and get somewhere. They can change the world by making things be more green waste less energy. Well a lot has changed the industrial revolution and the technological revolution.

In the industrial revolution a lot has happened and a lot has changed the cotton gin then the sewing machine that made life so much easier so has the telephone now the cell phone and a whole lot more. Some differences are that the telephone is a lot smaller and so is the cell phone there is no more child labor , and there no more immigrants coming here looking for change in the working system

  19. The thing that intrigued me the most was where it started at also all the invention and inventors and products we still use today. These are some questions I have are What inspired them as team to come up with them great inventions? Also what methods did you all use?I think inventions can change the world by the more that's sold the more it worth. Also the greater it is for others. This how The Industrail Revolution with our technoiogical revolution are simailar because we both had to work for our money also to feed our families. We are different because they didn't get as many break as the people who now also they had to sew their own clothing and we just can go out and buy cothing. That how we are different and alike.

  20. I was intrigued by the fact that the 1st Revolution was the beginning of machine and factory jobs. Before that everything was made by hand and at home.

    My questions are:
Did Alexander Graham Bell know how something like the telephone could one day create the cell phone?

What would we have done if the light bulb had not been created?

Was Bill Gates trying to create a new revolution?

Inventions can change the world because it makes things move quicker better. With out inventions we would not have anything new.

Some similarities are how people were excited about the changes. It made the future look bright.

Some differences are that technology has made things so much better, the cellphone, computer, internet, pausing of live television. That has made it so much easier to do things without missing out on other things. It just shows how much things have gotten better and moves faster.
